Senior Accountant

An established organization is adding a Senior Accountant to its finance team to support core accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end close activities. • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
• Support preparation of financial statements and internal reporting packages
• Analyze general ledger activity and investigate variances
• Maintain compliance with accounting policies and procedures
• Partner with operational teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Assist with audit preparation and external auditor requests
• Participate in process improvement and system enhancement initiatives
• Support ad hoc financial and accounting projects as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliations
• Experience working through monthly close processes
• Proficiency with Excel and ERP/accounting systems
• Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
