Accounting Manager - Client Accounting Services

Our firm is looking for an experienced accounting professional to lead our Client Accounting Services (CAS) team. This role oversees a group of bookkeepers and accounting specialists and reports directly to firm ownership. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, organized, and comfortable managing both people and client deliverables in a fast‑paced environment.

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Client Accounting Services team
• Provide high‑quality accounting and operational support to firm clients
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and all internal/external reporting deadlines
• Review and file various non-income tax filings, including sales tax, CAT, unemployment, workers’ compensation, 1099s, annual reports, and payroll tax filings
• Train, mentor, and develop team members to support professional growth and performance
• Work closely with tax and assurance teams to provide accurate financial reporting and supporting documentation

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• 5+ years of relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred
• Strong experience with Quick Books Online and Quick Books Desktop required
• Experience with Accounting CS is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Prior experience managing and training team members
• CPA license preferred but not required
