Our client, a well-established and highly respected boutique CPA firm in the Cleveland area, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their growing team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned accounting professional who enjoys working directly with clients, mentoring junior staff, and playing a key role in delivering high-quality accounting and tax services.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Prepare and review corporate, partnership, S-corporation, fiduciary, and individual tax returns.
- Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously while ensuring deadlines and quality standards are consistently met.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and providing proactive financial guidance.
- Research and resolve complex accounting and tax issues.
- Review the work of junior accountants and staff accountants for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with firm standards.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and constructive feedback to junior team members to support their professional development.
- Assist in training new staff on accounting procedures, tax preparation, and firm processes.
- Collaborate with partners on client planning, tax strategies, and special projects.
- Identify opportunities to improve client processes and recommend value-added solutions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5+ years of public accounting experience within a CPA firm
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Experience reviewing the work of junior accountants or supervising accounting staff is required
- Demonstrated ability to mentor, train, and develop less experienced team members.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with accounting and tax software, as well as Microsoft Excel.
