Our client is seeking a Plant Controller with strong manufacturing experience to lead all plant-level financial operations, cost controls, and strategic decision support. As the Plant Controller, you will be the financial leader for plant operations—owning cost accounting, budgeting, reporting, and performance analysis in a fast-paced automotive metals environment. You’ll partner directly with operations, engineering, and corporate finance to drive accuracy, efficiency, and profitability.
Responsibilities- Lead month-end close, reporting, and financial accuracy.
- Manage standard costs, BOMs, routings, scrap, labor, and overhead.
- Build annual budgets and rolling forecasts aligned with production volumes.
- Oversee inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and internal controls.
- Support plant leadership with KPI tracking, cost reduction, and performance improvement.
- Evaluate capital projects, ROI, and post‑completion results.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/CMA preferred.
- 5–10+ years of manufacturing accounting experience.
- Expertise in standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory accounting.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Plex, etc.).
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
