Corporate Staff Accountant – Q‑Lab Corporation
Q‑Lab Corporation is currently seeking a Corporate Staff Accountant. Reporting to the Controller, this role assists in the monthly close process, including preparation of journal entries, monitoring and reconciling balance sheet accounts, and maintaining a fixed‑asset system across multiple entities and countries, among other duties.
Responsibilities- Assist in the monthly close process, including preparation of journal entries
- Monitor and reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
- Analyze financial information
- Assist with sales and property tax compliance, including preparation of returns
- Provide management with weekly and monthly KPI reports
- Assist in annual planning process
- Maintain fixed‑asset system across multiple entities in multiple countries
- Assist with inventory cost management and GL reconciliation to internal inventory system
- Ad hoc reporting as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 1–3 years of experience preferred
- Analytical and detail‑oriented
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment or accredited lab
- Public accounting experience a plus
