The OpportunityAs a Tax Manager, you'll serve as both a technical leader and trusted advisor while helping oversee client engagements and develop the next generation of tax professionals.
You'll work closely with business owners, executives, family groups, entrepreneurs, and high-net-worth clients, helping them navigate complex tax challenges and develop proactive planning strategies that support long-term success.

- Lead complex tax planning and compliance engagements for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, and closely held businesses
- Develop strategies designed to minimize tax liabilities and maximize opportunities for clients
- Research and resolve complex federal, state, and local tax issues
- Review financial statements to identify planning opportunities and tax risks
- Stay current on tax law changes and proactively advise clients accordingly
- Serve as a trusted advisor to key client relationships
- Build and maintain strong long-term client partnerships
- Deliver exceptional service and strategic guidance throughout the year
- Coordinate with external advisors and professional service providers as needed
- Identify opportunities to expand service offerings and strengthen client relationships
- Supervise Associates and Senior Associates across multiple engagements
- Review tax returns, work papers, and planning projects
- Mentor and develop staff through coaching, training, and feedback
- Assist with engagement planning, workflow management, and quality control
- Support the continued growth of the firm's tax practice
- Conduct advanced tax research and communicate findings effectively
- Assist with estate, gift, trust, and fiduciary tax matters
- Support SALT-related planning and compliance initiatives
- Contribute technical expertise to complex client situations and planning opportunities
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- Master's Degree preferred
- Active CPA or EA designation required
- 5–10 years of progressive public accounting experience
- Strong experience reviewing complex tax engagements
- Estate, Gift & Trust tax experience highly desirable
