Senior Accountant

Dizario Search is partnering with a well-established and highly respected boutique CPA firm that is looking to add an experienced Senior Accountant to its growing team. Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Prepare and review corporate, partnership, S-corporation, fiduciary, and individual tax returns
• Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously while ensuring deadlines and quality standards are consistently met
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and providing proactive financial guidance
• Research and resolve complex accounting and tax issues
• Review the work of junior accountants and staff accountants for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with firm standards
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and constructive feedback to junior team members to support their professional development
• Assist in training new staff on accounting procedures, tax preparation, and firm processes
• Collaborate with partners on client planning, tax strategies, and special projects
• Identify opportunities to improve client processes and recommend value-added solutions
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required
• 5+ years of public accounting experience within a CPA firm
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and federal, state, and local tax regulations
• Experience reviewing the work of junior accountants or supervising accounting staff is required
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and train less experienced team members
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Ultra Tax is a huge plus!!!
