Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $20/hourly
Position Summary
Staffing Solutions Enterprises is seeking a Construction Administrative Clerk to support the mapping and administrative functions of our client's Construction Team. This role includes handling job mapping and maintaining online systems.
This role requires someone very detail-oriented, accurate, tech-savvy, and highly comfortable working online
, especially using Google Maps and internal mapping programs.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required.
- Monitor Job Chat daily and check Google Calendar for job status and mapping needs
- Map construction jobs by reviewing plans and developing accurate street layouts for field crews
- Document job notes in Job Chat and maintain updated details on Google Calendar
- Review daily Field Reports in Road Warrior to confirm information completeness
- Assist with updating the daily Tanker Balance Spreadsheet
- Support the Construction Calendar and prepare Job Packets for supervisors
- Process weekly 7?day envelopes from drivers and supervisors:
- Track missing envelopes
- Review receipts for accuracy
- Ensure gas receipts are uploaded correctly into E?log software
- Assist with invoicing
- Attend construction meetings
- Respond to all communication (email, phone, text) within 24 hours
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong tech-savvy skills; must enjoy working online and using mapping tools (extensive use of Google Maps)
- Minimum 2 years of administrative experience; construction experience preferred
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask and switch priorities when needed
- Proficiency in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint; comfortable learning new software
- High school diploma or GED
- Professional demeanor and business-casual presentation
Physical Requirements
- Office-based environment using standard office equipment
- May occasionally stand, walk, sit, climb stairs, or lift up to 20 lbs.
