Core-Mark seeks to hire a full-time Corporate Receptionist to help keep our business operation running efficiently and smoothly. This position is responsible for providing a broad range of administrative and clerical support to the organization, including answering phones, greeting clients, facilitating catering, mail disbursement, and special projects. The ideal candidate is customer service oriented with stellar interpersonal skills.
Work Schedule:This is a strict 40-hour per week work schedule of Monday‑Friday 8AM‑5PM in‑office position.
Pay:Non‑exempt (hourly), $19‑$23/hour depending on experience.
Primary Responsibilities:- Serve as the first impression of our business, welcoming our associates and visitors with an upbeat, pleasant attitude and welcoming presence.
- Multitasking expert with limitless patience and exceptional organizational skills!
- Answer and direct incoming calls.
- Oversee daily incoming & outgoing mail.
- Administer overnight shipments and incoming deliveries.
- Drop off certified mail at the Post Office on an as‑needed basis.
- Support the creation of associates badges and vehicle parking placards.
- Keep lobby and common areas neat and organized.
- Work on special projects as assigned and assist other departments as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills:
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Strong interpersonal and listening skills.
- The ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with associates, clients, vendors, and all guests.
- Basic to intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
- The ability to handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality and maintain a high degree of professionalism.
- The ability to learn quickly, exercise good judgment, work well under pressure, and complete tasks promptly.
- The ability to take initiative and independently make decisions.
- High School Diploma/GED Required.
- 6+ months of receptionist, administrative support, or customer‑service related experience.
- Must be able to lift 25lbs without assistance.
- 1+ year of experience as a receptionist in a corporate office environment.
