Workers’ Compensation Specialist (Westlake, OH)

As a Workers’ Compensation Specialist for our IME division, you will manage the full lifecycle of Independent Medical Evaluations (IME) for Ohio Workers’ Compensation cases. This role provides expert review of IME reports, drafts high-quality IME cover letters and questions, coordinates scheduling and communication of evaluations, and ensures strict adherence to Ohio BWC requirements and medical-legal standards.

This position functions as an internal subject-matter expert on IMEs, Ohio workers’ compensation processes, and provider coordination, supporting the organization with advanced judgment, autonomy, and problem-solving.

• Manage the full lifecycle of Independent Medical Evaluations (IME) for Ohio Workers’ Compensation cases.
• Provide expert review of IME reports and draft high-quality IME cover letters and questions.
• Coordinate scheduling and communication of evaluations to ensure timely completion.
• Ensure strict adherence to Ohio BWC requirements and medical-legal standards.
• Serve as an internal subject-matter expert on IMEs, Ohio workers’ compensation processes, and provider coordination.
• Apply advanced judgment, autonomy, and problem-solving in day-to-day decision-making.

• Bachelor’s degree; professional experience preferred.
• Geographical proximity preferred, as this is an in-office position in Westlake, OH.
• Strong medical-legal writing and editing skills are advantageous.
