CGI Production Specialist - On-Call

Job Description

As this role will require on‑site work out of our Creative Studios in Westlake, Ohio, we will focus on candidates who currently reside in Northeast Ohio.

Red Studios is the in‑house production studio for American Greetings, the largest social expressions company in the world. We are a full‑service photography, video and 3D production team that is responsible for creating all aspects of still and motion content for American Greetings and its subsidiaries. Our incredibly talented team produces solutions to a wide variety of media needs, including marketing campaigns, e‑commerce, merchandizing and creative product content.

We are looking for a talented CGI Production Specialist to join our vibrant team. This individual must display competent 3D design skills and knowledge of Blender. They must be able to help facilitate the creation of photorealistic 3D imagery with attention to detail and the production process. This is an on‑call position.

• Providing digital manipulation of images and 3D design to meet production requirements.
• Combining relevant skills with a good understanding of the social expressions industry.
• Using creativity to accurately execute against design briefs by using aesthetic judgment alongside knowledge of latest 3D design capabilities.
• Applying 3D design skills to solve production needs where appropriate.
• Responsible for on‑time delivery of all work along with pro‑active time management.
• Ability to focus on custom production processes.

Required length and type of experience: A minimum of 1 year professional industry experience.

• High level of knowledge around all aspects of the 3D design process with some knowledge of photography.
• Competent knowledge of Photoshop and Blender.
• Understanding of photography lighting principles.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Highly self‑motivated and goal‑oriented.
• A team player.
• Having a sense of humor.

Generally requires a minimum of BFA or comparable portfolio.
