Support the development, documentation, and installation of complex lighting systems and backlit architectural features. This role blends hands-on electrical knowledge with CAD-based design and documentation responsibilities.
The ideal candidate has experience with low-voltage systems, lighting controls, construction materials, and manufacturing processes, and is comfortable working both in the office and in the field alongside installation teams.
Responsibilities- Experience with low-voltage electrical systems and basic electrical principles
- Working knowledge of NEC standards and lighting controls (0–10V, DMX)
- Comfortable using hand tools and working with common construction materials
- Familiarity with manufacturing and assembly processes
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit and Fusion 360 a plus)
- Ability to read and produce electrical schematics and detailed BOMs
- Willingness to travel occasionally to support installations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong understanding of low-voltage electrical systems and lighting integration
- Familiarity with building management systems as they relate to lighting
- Comfortable working with computers, software, and digital workflows
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams
