This is a full-time, on-site Independent Financial Advisor Opportunity based in Westlake, OH. The Independent Financial Advisor will meet with clients to assess their financial goals, analyze their current financial situations, and develop customized strategies for retirement, investment, and overall financial planning. Responsibilities include preparing and presenting financial plans, recommending appropriate investment solutions, and providing ongoing portfolio reviews and adjustments. The advisor will also maintain thorough client records, stay current on market trends and regulatory changes, and collaborate with internal team members and the Registered Investment Advisor as needed.
Business development, networking, and building a sustainable client base are key components of this opportunity.
- Strong foundation in Financial Planning and Retirement Planning, with the ability to design comprehensive, goal-based strategies.
- Solid understanding of Finance and Investments, including asset allocation, risk management, and portfolio construction.
- Proven experience in Financial Advisory, with a focus on client relationship management and long-term guidance.
- Relevant professional licensing (e.g., appropriate securities and insurance licenses) or willingness to obtain them within an agreed timeframe.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field; advanced credentials such as CFP, CFA, or similar designations are preferred.
- Excellent communication, listening, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in clear, accessible language.
- Demonstrated ethical judgment, high level of personal integrity, and commitment to regulatory compliance and fiduciary standards.
- Self-directed, entrepreneurial mindset with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time, priorities, and multiple client relationships effectively.
