What the position is:
The Human Resource Information System (HRIS) Specialist serves as the functional system administrator and primary liaison between Commute Air and its HRIS vendor, currently Dayforce. This role is responsible for the accurate creation, maintenance, and auditing of employee records, ongoing monitoring of system activity, and the development and execution of reports to support HR and cross-functional departments with reliable employee data and workforce analytics.
Essential Functions:
- Acts as system administrator for all modules in the HRIS (Dayforce) and liaison to vendor for support and maintenance
- Ensures data privacy, confidentiality and role-based access control
- Provides end-user access support and troubleshooting assistance.
- Assesses, implements and troubleshoots integrations to other company software in collaboration with the IT software team.
- Develops human resource solutions by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends; recommends action.
- Reviews current procedures and makes recommendations for improvement.
- Prepares weekly/monthly/annual reports for senior management
- Assist Senior Management with special projects as needed.
- Prepares and updates informational materials.
- Completes and submits DOL surveys.
- Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
