Senior Systems Engineer

The Senior Systems Engineer will support the design, development, enhancement, and operations of enterprise-level Contact Center platforms that power voice, email, and web-chat communication channels.

This role is part of an agile engineering team focused on delivering scalable, reliable, and innovative solutions that support millions of users annually.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and reusable application code.
• Design, test, support, and troubleshoot Contact Center and telephony products.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation using Jenkins.
• Build and deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate within Agile Scrum teams to deliver high-value engineering solutions.
• Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot application performance using APM tools and best practices.
• Ensure strong operational integrity and reliability for applications running in 24/7 environments.
• Drive innovation, continuous improvement, and best-in-class engineering practices.
• Take ownership and demonstrate accountability in all assigned tasks and deliverables.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent field.
• 8+ years of experience as a Software, Systems, or Dev Ops Engineer.
• Hands-on experience designing, developing, testing, supporting, and troubleshooting Contact Center systems.
• Proficiency in Java, Ansible, Python, or similar programming languages.
• Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, and container-based environments.
• Expertise with Jenkins, particularly building and maintaining declarative CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of UNIX operating systems and shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or similar cloud platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex application and infrastructure issues.
• Working knowledge of APM tools and performance monitoring techniques.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Ability to work independently in high-visibility, time-sensitive environments.

• Experience with Genesys Engage or similar Contact Center platforms is a plus.

• Ansible – configuration management, provisioning, and application deployment
• Contact Center experience – experience with telephony or customer interaction platforms (e.g., Genesys Engage)
