Cloud Administrator

Description We are looking for a Cloud Administrator to support and enhance a business-critical cloud environment in Westlake, Ohio. This role focuses on maintaining reliable Azure infrastructure, strengthening access controls, and ensuring core services perform securely and efficiently. The ideal candidate brings hands-on cloud operations experience, sound troubleshooting ability, and the communication skills to work effectively across technical and business teams.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and maintain Azure-based infrastructure to support stable, secure, and efficient day-to-day operations.

- Administer identity and access controls within Azure, applying governance standards, conditional access principles, and privileged access processes.

- Troubleshoot cloud networking issues involving virtual networks, security rules, firewalls, and hybrid connectivity components.

- Oversee compute and storage resources, including virtual machines, managed disks, and storage services, to optimize availability and performance.

- Execute and improve backup, patching, and routine maintenance activities to protect systems and reduce operational risk.

- Monitor cloud services and logs proactively, investigate alerts, and respond to incidents in environments that require high uptime.

- Create clear operational documentation and share technical information effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Requirements - At least 3 years of experience administering Azure in a production setting, or comparable cloud administration experience with strong Azure expertise.

- Solid knowledge of Azure identity, access management, and governance best practices.

- Practical experience supporting Azure networking, including connectivity troubleshooting across secure and hybrid environments.

- Hands-on background managing cloud compute and storage services and supporting maintenance processes such as patching and backups.

- Experience using monitoring and logging tools to identify issues and support incident response activities.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce concise operational documentation.

- Familiarity with automation or cloud platforms such as Ansible, AWS, Auto Scaling, or Amazon EC2 is beneficial. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
