Position Type Full Time## Description JV Janitorial Services is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented
** Day Porter
** to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at an elementary school and church facility in Westlake, Ohio.

This is a highly visible daytime position where you will work independently while interacting professionally with school staff, students, church personnel, and visitors.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, notices the little things, and can manage daily responsibilities with minimal supervision.

* * Day Porter Duties and Responsibilities
** Ensure that the janitorial commitments to our clients are met by performing stellar, general cleaning including but not limited to:
* Maintain cleanliness throughout school and church’s common areas
* Spot mop floors and place caution signs
* Vacuum rugs
* Sweep parking areas as needed
* Wipe down window glass and elevator surfaces
* Dust fixtures, countertops, and other surfaces
* Empty trash
* Service restroom; replenishing stock of consumables
* Perform wipe down of cafeteria (tables, chairs, floor) after breaks and lunches## Qualifications### Qualifications
* Previous janitorial, custodial, or day porter experience preferred.
* Ability to work independently and prioritize daily tasks.
* Dependable attendance and strong attention to detail.
* Professional, friendly demeanor appropriate for a school and church environment.
* Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift 25–40 pounds.
* Ability to successfully complete a background check.
* Must be authorized to work in the United States.###
