Rae-Ann Suburban Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our growing nursing team! We are looking for PRN or part-time applicants. Great team atmosphere and Supportive Management.
Shifts to include Day or Night Shift:
7:00A - 7:30P, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (including weekend and holiday rotation)

Responsibilities:
To provide professional nursing care to residents, according to established policies and procedures of the facility and as mandated with federal and state regulations.
Checks rooms routinely to ensure residents' safety and well-being.
Assesses and documents observations accordingly.
Carries out instructions of the supervisor.
Answers questions from residents, their families and other nursing personnel.
Assists supervisors in care and management of the unit.
Maintain supplies and equipment necessary to the efficient running of the unit.
Other Duties and Responsibilities may include:
Evaluating residents’ health conditions and needs, developing appropriate nursing care plans
Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Providing direct patient care including wound dressing, bathing, feeding and monitoring vital signs
Documenting residents’ health status and maintaining accurate medical records
Communicating with residents’ family members and healthcare team about their condition and progress
Providing emotional support and therapeutic communication to residents and their families
Supervising and training nursing assistants and junior nursing staff
Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations, including sanitation and infection control
Coordinating with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, therapists, and dietitians
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
Current practical Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Familiar and comfortable utilizing the Point Click Care healthcare software.
Experience in geriatrics is preferred, although not required.
Must possess leadership ability and a willingness to cooperate with department heads and personnel.
Must be in good mental and physical condition.
Must have excellent organizational skills, including ability to plan and direct good nursing care.
Must possess and show: patience, tactfulness, have a cheerful disposition, show enthusiasm and the ability to handle residents based on their current level of functioning.
Working Conditions:
Work in well-lighted and well-ventilated rooms.
You will be exposed to odors and various personalities of the aged, infirmed who may have various illnesses, also those who are here on a short-term basis before returning to the outside community.
