Job Description
As this is a hybrid position working out of our Creative Studios in Westlake, Ohio, we will focus on candidate who currently resides in Northeast Ohio.
The Floorplan Analyst is responsible for developing and executing the space allocation for the Celebrations Department in each retail account using Blue Yonder Floor.
In this role, you will assist in developing the allocation strategy for each retailer or retail group. The floorplan analyst will execute the fixture, signage, accessory and product order for each assigned retail account.
In order to be successful, you will need strong analytical skills to understand the sales and space models, along with strong communication skills as they will regularly be working through data with their business intelligence counterparts, retailer needs with their sales partners and performance-based strategy or tactic shifts with their product management contacts.
Additionally, these individuals are responsible for evaluating the performance of their floor plans and identifying opportunities to increase retail productivity over time.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Create and maintain all assigned floor plans for American Greetings
- Participate in executing continuous improvement opportunities
- Analyze productivity, inventory efficiency and profitability for their floor plans and suggest areas of opportunity to better achieve goals
- Ensure all retail updates are completed in the most cost effective manner
- Manage productivity of space; identifying opportunities to improve productivity through optimizations
- Accurate and efficient management of product, planogram, store and assortment data
- Efficient creation and maintenance of floor plans
- Enhance the reporting capabilities to enrich American Greeting’s business processes
Required Length & Type of
Experience:
- 1+ years related experience
- Consumer packaged goods experience preferred in areas of product management and/or merchandising
- Space planning/merchandising experience is preferred
- Strong analytic skills
- Strong financial knowledge
- Clear, crisp communication and presentation skills
- Blue Yonder/JDA space and/or floor experience preferred
- Microsoft office, especially Excel
Bachelor's degree in Business or related subject
