The Outside Sales Representative / Roofing Consultant is responsible for driving revenue growth through residential and/or commercial roofing sales by generating leads, conducting inspections, developing estimates, and guiding customers through the roofing process from initial contact to project completion. This role serves as a trusted advisor to customers while representing the Company’s People-First culture, safety standards, and commitment to exceptional customer experience.

• Generate new business through canvassing, referrals, networking, and self-sources leads
• Conduct on-site roof inspections and assess repair or replacement needs
• Educate customers on roofing systems, materials, warranties, and insurance processes
• Prepare and present accurate estimates and proposals
• Work with insurance adjusters as applicable to support claims
• Close sales and meet or exceed individual sales and margin goals
• Partner with Production and Operations teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Provide consistent communication and follow-up with customers
• Adhere to all safety, licensing, and compliance requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-3 years of outside sales experience (roofing or construction preferred)
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally
• Ability to climb ladders and walk roofs in varying weather conditions
