Position:
Security Officer Hospital Campus Rounds (Part Time) in Westlake, OH.

You will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. In this unarmed patrol role you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security‑related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. You will contribute to a caring environment through teamwork, reliability, agility, innovation, and integrity while making a meaningful impact each day.

Mon: 05:00 PM – 09:00 PM
Tue: 05:00 PM – 09:00 PM
Wed: 05:00 PM – 09:00 PM
Thu: 05:00 PM – 09:00 PM

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and observe unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with directions, screening processes, and/or badge verification in support of daily healthcare operations.
• Support Allied Universal standards by reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel for follow‑up.

• Hospital vaccination requirements must be met.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
