As a Security Officer Armed Enhanced Part Time Concierge in Westlake, OH, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”):
  You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:
  In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Provide customer service by greeting visitors, employees, and/or vendors at the front desk, following site‑specific procedures, and helping to address security‑related questions or concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying identification, managing visitor sign‑in processes, issuing badges or credentials, and/or documenting arrivals and departures according to post guidelines.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Answer phones, direct calls, receive deliveries, and maintain front desk activity logs, reports, and other records related to security‑related operations.
• Observe lobby and entry activity for unusual behavior, help to deter unauthorized access, and communicate notable issues to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

• Possess an armed guard card and/or license, as required by state and/or local laws.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
