Lead Fireplace Installer

Are you the installer everyone calls when the job has to be done right?

The Hearth Shop has been Northeast Ohio’s fireplace expert for over 45 years. We are looking for an experienced Lead Fireplace Installer who takes pride in craftsmanship, works independently, and enjoys creating beautiful spaces for homeowners.

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who already understands construction, finish work, mechanical systems, or fireplace installation and wants to build a long-term career with a stable company.

• Lead the installation of Gas fireplaces
• Wood-burning fireplaces
• Gas log sets
• Fireplace inserts
• Gas grills
• Chimney liners and venting systems
• Mantels, surrounds, stone, and finishing components

You’ll be responsible for the complete installation—from protecting the customer’s home to the final walkthrough.

• Has strong mechanical ability
• Can read installation manuals and building plans
• Understands venting and gas appliance installation
• Has finish carpentry or remodeling experience
• Can troubleshoot problems in the field
• Works well without constant supervision
• Takes pride in clean, professional work
• Treats every customer’s home with respect

Experience with any of the following is highly valued:

• HVAC
• Residential construction
• Masonry
• Chimney service
• Framing

Manufacturer certifications are a plus but not required.
