Job DescriptionLead projects that keep South Westland moving!
We’re looking for an experienced Area Supervisor to manage civil construction and maintenance works across the South Westland District. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll oversee roading, utilities, and other client projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency every step of the way.
What You’ll Do
- Supervise civil construction and maintenance projects for roading, utilities, and other clients.
- Plan and coordinate resources, plant, and materials to keep projects on track.
- Conduct daily and weekly site briefings, including Health & Safety updates.
- Ensure quality assurance and compliance with project specifications.
- Ensure compliance with road safety and temporary traffic management standards.
- Support additional duties across the West Coast region as needed.
You will need:
- Strong leadership and team supervision skills
- High level of IT literacy, including RAMM/AWM experience
- Ability to plan, organise, and manage multiple projects
- Solid knowledge of civil construction practices and Health & Safety regulations.
- Class 5 driver's licence plus WTR endorsements
