Responsibilities
- Review contractor job site safety plans and safe work practices.
- Monitor contractor compliance to established safety programs and Owner Guidelines.
- Perform and document weekly site inspections.
- Develop, update and track various safety-related reports.
- Perform daily observations and complete a daily safety report.
- Perform a weekly safety walk with contractor and document the results.
- Interact with plant safety and contractor safety.
- Track safety incidents and provide follow-up as required by Owner and governing agencies.
- OSHA 30-hour certification.
- Minimum five (5) years in Construction Management.
- Minimum three (3) years in Automotive Construction (GM preferred).
- Preferred degree in Construction Management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
