Qualifications:
- Applicant must have the Illinois State Board of Education
- Prior experience working with individuals who have disabilities (at the high school or adult services level) is preferred.
- Experience with data collection and technology is helpful.
- Ability to work independently and communicate with business partners.
- Reliable transportation.
Direct Supervision:
- Professional Staff (Vocational Facilitator)
- Supervisor of Transition Services
- Assistant Supervisor of Transition Services
Overview: Responsibilities include training and support of students in a variety of community settings. The Job Coach is a member of the multidisciplinary team and works in partnership with the Vocational Facilitator and Transition Specialist to provide feedback and input regarding the student's skills and abilities. This position serves as a representative of SEDOL in a variety of community-based businesses.
Performance Responsibilities:
Salary:$21.67 - $28.57 per hour based on education and experience.
