Job DescriptionWe are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Piano Teacher to introduce children (ages 3-12) to the joy of music through engaging and age-appropriate piano lessons. This part-time role will involve planning and teaching beginner piano classes, encouraging students to develop basic music skills, and fostering a love of music.
Key Responsibilities- Teach basic piano techniques and music theory to young children.
- Plan and prepare lessons that are fun, interactive, and tailored to the developmental needs of young children.
- Introduce students to musical concepts such as rhythm, pitch, and melody.
- Foster a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
- Communicate with parents about their child’s progress in piano lessons.
- Organize and participate in small music recitals or performances (when appropriate).
- Maintain a clean and organized music area.
- Proven experience teaching music to young children (previous experience teaching piano is a plus).
- A degree in music or a related field is preferred, but not required.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the daycare team and engage with parents.
- Strong communication skills.
- Background check required.
