Westland Horticulture is looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join our Growing Media Division. Reporting to the Divisional Financial Controller, this role is central to the financial performance of the division, with responsibility for day-to-day financial reporting, robust cost control, and the production of accurate, timely management accounts.

Thisisahands-on,commerciallyfocusedrole,idealforanewlyorrecentlyqualifiedaccountantlookingtobuildtheirexperienceinafast-paced

FMCG/manufacturing environment.

You’llworkcloselywithoperations,procurement,andseniorstakeholderstochallengecosts,support decision-making,andhelpdrivecontinuousimprovementacrossthedivision.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-dayfinancialreportingandfinancialoperationsforthe
  
  Growing Media division
• Fullresponsibilityforthe General Ledgerrelatingtothedivision
• Reviewandmaintain Billsof Materials (BOMs) andstandardcostingswithinD
  365
• Partnerwithoperationsandprocurementtocostnewproductsandassessmarginviability
• Producemonthlygrossmarginreportingwithfullvarianceanalysis
• Supportthedevelopmentofthedivision’sannualbudgetincollaborationwiththe
