Supply Chain Operations Associate (2nd Shift)

The Supply Chain Operations Associate will oversee operational functions for the General Motors LLP Account, ensuring timely shipment, inventory control, and supplier coordination during the second shift.

• Follow up on purchased parts to ensure shipment and on‑time delivery performance.
• Serve as main point of contact for suppliers, providing direction on ship schedules and containment plans.
• Make decisions on timing of supplier ship schedules, material push, pull, and expediting as needed.
• Track critical parts and execute containment plans to prevent manufacturing line interruptions.
• Coordinate alternative sources, spot buys, and handle requests for GM Plants.
• Monitor, set up and cancel truck loads for material pick‑up to support schedule variations.
• Maintain proper material coverage at lowest cost.
• Review part buffers for build requirements (Metal Centers and Powertrain).
• Document and manage S and AV code exceptions, including alarm interval maintenance.
• Investigate and process record adjustment requests from previous shift.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Multi‑task, highly organized, with excellent time‑management and communication skills.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
• 1 year of administrative experience (preferred).
• 1 year of relevant supply‑chain experience strongly recommended.

• Knowledge of MGO (GM's MRP system) – Intermediate.
• Knowledge of transportation management – Intermediate.
• Knowledge of material flow related to manufacturing processes – Intermediate.

• Annual Salary: $50,000 – $54,000 (based on experience).
• Schedule:
  
  Monday – Friday, 2:30p.m. – 10:30p.m.
