Facilities Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a motivated, dependable, and hands-on Facilities Maintenance Technician who takes pride in their work and brings a positive, can-do attitude to our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to take initiative and work independently.

Responsibilities include general building maintenance, repairs, painting, basic plumbing, preventative maintenance, and overall facility upkeep. We are seeking someone who is reliable, responsible, versatile, and committed to maintaining a safe, clean, and well-functioning work environment.

Work schedule:

Full Time, Temporary or Contract, Long Term. Pay Rate: $22.00 - $24.00 / hour Duties:
Perform general building maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting. Repair doors, locks, windows, furniture, and minor structural issues. Conduct basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work. Perform preventive maintenance inspections and report potential issues. Paint, patch walls, and maintain facility appearance. Assist with equipment installation, relocation, and minor assembly projects. Maintain maintenance records and work orders. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Respond to urgent maintenance requests as needed.

Position Requirements :

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in building maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a similar role. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and painting. Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks. Requirements:
Background Check, Drug Test, Stand for Shift Duration, Must be at least 18 years old. Able to Lift 50 pounds., required education: HS Diploma or GED.
