Production Technician 1st, 2nd, 3rd

Overview

As a Production Technician, you operate equipment to manufacture plastic containers for leading consumer brands. You will work in a clean, safe and climate‑controlled environment to produce high‑quality rigid plastic containers.

• Operate top‑of‑the‑line extrusion and blow‑molding manufacturing equipment.
• Monitor equipment and adjust settings—including heat control, water cooling temperatures and hydraulic pressure—to maintain quality standards.
• Perform troubleshooting, routine preventative maintenance, and ensure equipment runs safely and efficiently.
• Conduct quality checks for specifications such as bottle weights and dimensions to meet customer requirements.
• Collaborate with the team to identify continuous improvement opportunities focused on safety, reliability, quality, and scrap reduction.

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience as a Manufacturing Production Technician in high‑volume production.
• Working knowledge of extrusion or blow‑molding equipment preferred.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical mechanics.
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem‑solve.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. individually or 70 lbs. as a team lift.

12‑hour shifts with a rotating 2‑week standard schedule: 3 days followed by 4 days for a total of 15 working days per month.

• First shift: 6:48 am – 3:00 pm.
• Second shift: 2:48 pm – 11:00 pm.
• Third shift: 10:48 pm – 7:00 am.

Base pay of $18 per hour & up, based on experience.
