This is a full-time on-site position for a Machine Builder located in Oakland County, MI. As a Machine Builder, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and testing custom grinding machinery. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing engineering drawings, using hand and power tools for assembly, performing mechanical assembly, and troubleshooting machinery. You will collaborate closely with engineers and technicians to ensure machines meet production requirements and quality standards.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and apply this knowledge to machine assembly.
• Proficiency in the use of hand tools and power tools for assembly purposes.
• Experience with machinery setup and maintenance, including troubleshooting.
• Strong mechanical assembly skills with attention to detail.
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team in a hands-on environment.
• Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to address technical challenges.
• Familiarity with grinding machinery and related components is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant vocational training preferred.
