Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance to production measurement equipment.
  • Location:

    Stellantis Trenton Engine Plant
  • Work from mechanical schematics, sketches, manuals, specifications, and written and oral instructions.
  • Perform mechanical tasks as required.
  • Under minimal direction, work directly from the work orders.
  • Perform other related activities as assigned and needed.
  • Handle emergency work order calls.
  • Perform additional technical responsibilities as assigned.
  • Support Stellantis Production Way (SPW) cross-functional teams in maintenance-related Problem-Solving Process and daily activities.
  • Maintain and improve gage uptime.
  • Support major gage or equipment modifications. Provide all required maintenance support for gage and process activities in the production lines.
  • Support SPW in updating & maintaining control of all gage drawings, Work Instructions Sheets for key PM and maintenance related activities.
  • Participate in preparing technical detail and instructions for planned maintenance (preventative, predictive, planned corrective) and TPM activities with SPW's Technical Support, Specialists and the cross functional team.
  • Participate in creating procedures and ensure the conformance of procedures and processes (ISO 9000).
  • Facilitate communication between departments, lines and internal suppliers (external to respective area, internal to plant infrastructure).
  • Be a proactive participant in the identification of spare parts.
  • Participate in the hiring process for new team members as requested.
  • Participate in supplier pre-launch activities to support SPW by assisting with gage R&R's, correlation studies and de-bug.
  • Technical responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    • Mechanical
    • All gaging, maintenance, repair, downtime, improvement, spare parts, TPM, etc.
  • Conduct routine audits & verifications to confirm the completion of written/documented maintenance activities to confirm SPW's quality system is implemented and functioning according to plan, and in the case of non-conformance or system failure, re-establish ideal conditions or make improvements.
  • Coordinate with SPW production on the availability of production gauges for planned maintenance (preventive, predictive, planned corrective).
  • Create, update, and approve Standard Work Instruction Sheets to ensure the standardization and safe performance of maintenance activities.
  • Arrive on the job, ready to work every day according to the work plan and schedule.

Safety

  • Demonstrate role model behavior for safety, integrity, and ethical standards, as well as behaviors consistent with Premier standards and the SPW lean manufacturing culture.
  • Work with others to ensure complete safety and integrity of ALL involved parties in the work environment.
  • Establish and maintain the 5S standard in your area.

Quality

  • Ensure delivery of gage maintenance services using root cause analyses, continuous improvement, and problem-solving activities through data-driven scientific methods with SPW's cross-functional teams in all facilities service-related areas.
  • Measure and ensure the department's performance to SPW's SQDCM goals.

Delivery

  • Participate in the development of a Lean Maintenance Operating System and SPW Quality System as requested.
