Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow all company safety protocols, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain outstanding attendance and punctuality.
  • Follow standard work procedures, work instructions, and quality requirements.
  • Operate complex manufacturing equipment under supervision.
  • Monitor production processes and promptly identify, communicate, and escape technical or process issues to the appropriate support teams and leaders.
  • Perform production and manufacturing tasks in accordance with established operational standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to operational excellence efforts.
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation as required.
  • Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and cross-functional partners to achieve production, quality, and safety objectives.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support business and operational needs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Manufacturing environment supporting lithium-ion battery cell production operations.
  • Regular exposure to production equipment, moving machinery, automation systems, powered industrial vehicles, and manufacturing materials.
  • Work may be performed in areas with varying temperatures, humidity levels, noise levels, dust, fumes, and odors consistent with an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Employees are required to comply with all environmental, health, safety, quality, and security procedures, including adherence to PPE requirements and controlled access protocols.
  • Required use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may include, but is not limited to, safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection, gloves, bump caps, respirators, and other protective equipment based on assigned work area.
  • Position may require working flexible schedules, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, and rotating shifts based on production and business needs.
  • Work is performed in a fast-paced, team-oriented production environment requiring strong attention to detail, adaptability, and effective communication with cross-functional teams.
  • May require support across multiple production lines, manufacturing areas, or operational departments as business needs evolve.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 12 hours per shift.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks and physically demanding work for extended durations.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching, squatting, crawling, and climbing as required by production activities.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry materials or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to use hands and fingers for repetitive grasping, handling, assembly, and equipment operation activities.
  • Ability to safely operate tools, machinery, and manufacturing equipment.
  • Visual ability to inspect parts, equipment, gauges, screens, and manufacturing processes, including close vision and color differentiation where required.
  • Ability to wear required PPE for extended periods while performing assigned duties.
  • Ability to respond quickly to operational, safety, or emergency situations within the manufacturing environment.
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated ability to learn new skills & adapt to new work environments.
  • Comfortable learning new technology
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
