Registered Nurse; ASC OR, PACU, and Support

Job Description

This posting is for an Pre-Op and PACU Nurse at private practice ambulatory surgical centers. Among the benefits of working in such an environment are:

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to work Contingent as a nurse at our ASC locations. The nurse will be responsible for the assisting in pre and post‑op care and some administrative duties. This position is primarily scheduled at our Westland ASC location, but will involve occasional (less than 5%) travel to our Warren site; all qualified applicants will be able to work at both locations.

• Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients
• Assist in patient care at the ASC site
• Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
• Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
• Maintain accurate patient medical records
• Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members

• Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields, especially in an ASC setting
• Familiarity with medical software and equipment
• Ability to build rapport with patients, providers, and others
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
