What You’ll Do

As an OB/GYN RN or LPN with UGLFHC, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming, efficient, and compassionate care environment for women, families, and our clinical team. Every day brings the opportunity to make a real impact by:

  • Providing exceptional nursing care within the scope of your license, ensuring women feel safe, supported, and cared for.
  • Assisting providers with gynecological exams, obstetric visits, prenatal and postpartum care, and minor in-office procedures.
  • Educating and supporting women and families on reproductive health, pregnancy, contraception, and wellness.
  • Helping manage chronic and acute conditions specific to women’s health, in partnership with providers and families.
  • Coordinating prenatal, preventative, and wellness screenings to improve long‑term health outcomes.
  • Championing preventative care by managing an assigned patient registry to support improved outcomes across the lifespan. You will build meaningful relationships with patients and families and truly make a lasting impact in their lives.
  • Offering support, guidance, and mentorship to fellow clinical staff with a focus on OB/GYN care.
  • Enhancing the patient and family experience while helping providers be as effective and productive as possible.
  • Demonstrating advanced clinical judgment, critical thinking, and growing your expertise in women’s health within a supportive, team‑centered environment.

Job Qualifications
  • State of Michigan unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure.
  • Evidence of Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
