Job Type: Full-Time 0.9 FTE or 72 hours/pp

Sign-On Bonus: $7,500 available to well qualified applicants

Schedule: 6 x 12‑hour shifts, nights (7p‑7a), rotating weekends and holidays

• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatment.
• Documents patient care given.
• Works closely with providers to ensure patients meet observation criteria; monitors patients for 24‑48 hours to assess their condition and determine if admission or discharge is warranted.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides appropriate education based on age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.

• Current Michigan RN license.
• Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor’s preferred).
• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS‑HCP) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
