* What You’ll Do:

** As a Cashier, you are the last touchpoint a customer has before leaving our store.

You'll:
* Become knowledgeable on Meijer programs and promotions to best assist customers
* Create welcoming, memorable checkout experiences that leave a lasting impression
* Use Meijer systems to complete transactions efficiently and accurately
* Handle cash and payments responsibly, with attention to detail
* Communicate clearly and confidently, using friendly eye contact and positive body language
* Answer customer questions and help resolve concerns with care
* Build trust and connection that encourages customers to return
* Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly

* What You Bring:

*** You’re 18 years of age or older
* You enjoy working with people and providing great service
* You’re comfortable learning and using technology

* Previous retail or customer service experience is helpful but not required
* You have the ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods
