Product Support Sales Representative – New Hudson, MI

A full‑time role focused on providing OEM and aftermarket parts and service sales throughout the assigned territory.

• Sell OEM parts and products.
• Sell aftermarket parts and products.
• Make cold calls to equipment owners in the assigned territory.
• Operate within the territory to generate sales growth.
• Incorporate Alta’s Guiding Principles into daily activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain consistent, reliable attendance and be ready for work at the designated start time.

• Associate’s degree and 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• Strong negotiation, selling, and customer‑service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and automobile insurance.
• Proficiency with Word processing, spreadsheet, accounting, and equipment manufacturing technical software.
• Language skills:
  Intermediate – ability to read, interpret and write routine reports, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Mathematical skills:
  Intermediate – ability to calculate discounts, commissions, percentages, and perform basic algebra and geometry.
• Reasoning ability:
  High – ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization and interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions.

• Regularly sit, frequently stand, walk, climb, or balance; occasionally use hands, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk/hear, taste/smell as required.
• No special vision requirements.
• Regularly lift up to 25 pounds; frequently lift 26–50 pounds.
• Work near moving mechanical parts; exposed to fumes or airborne particles, wet or humid conditions (non‑weather); work in high precarious places; occasionally work outdoors; around toxic or caustic chemicals.
