CSI is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our growing team. Location is flexible to both Warren and / or Lansing office with travel.

• Travel to customer sites (50%–70%) to install, commission, and service control panels and automation systems.
• Perform electrical and mechanical assembly, wiring, and panel integration
• Conduct system troubleshooting—both hardware and software—on‑site and remotely
• Modify and troubleshoot basic Allen‑Bradley PLC programs as needed
• Work directly with customers to identify and resolve system issues and ensure satisfaction.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings
• Document service activities, system updates, and field modifications accurately
• Maintain a professional attitude and communication with customers and team members
• Ensure all work meets safety standards and company quality requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in panel building, electrical systems, or industrial automation
• Proficiency with electrical schematics, control wiring, and panel layout
• Basic experience with Allen‑Bradley PLCs (RSLogix / Studio 5000) for programming and troubleshooting
• Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills—hardware and software
• Ability to work independently in the field and collaborate effectively with others
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel 50%–70% (domestic and/or international)
• Valid driver’s license, eligible to obtain passport. ability to meet travel requirements

• Experience with HMI programming (Factory Talk, Panel View, etc.)
• Familiarity with VFDs, motion control, and industrial communication protocols (Ether Net/IP, Modbus, etc.)
• OSHA or electrical safety training
• Experience in system commissioning or field service environments
• Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts
