Position SummaryThe School Psychologist conducts psychological testing and assessment of individuals suspected of having a disability. Participates as a member of the Multidisciplinary Evaluation Team (MET) and the Individualized Education Planning Team (IEPT) for individual students, as assigned by their supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications- Education: Michigan Department of Education School Psychologist Certification or full licensure as a School Psychologist in the State of Michigan required
- Experience: Completion of a 500-hour university-supervised internship and at least one year of successful experience under a Michigan-approved school psychologist
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment, test administration and interpretation, and data analysis to support student evaluation and eligibility
- Ability to collaborate with students, families, staff, and community partners, including participation in MET/IEPT meetings and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to prepare reports and communicate complex psychological data clearly
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, utilize technology effectively, and demonstrate professionalism in a school-based environment
Pay Range: $47,496 - $92,683
Work Schedule:186 Days, 7 Hours
Paid Time Off:- Sick and Personal Business paid time, up to 13 days
