Trillium Drivers is now seeking CDL Class A Truck Drivers in Westland, MI for a temp-to-hire opportunity!

Pay rate is $25 per hour with OT after 40 hours. Schedule is Monday-Friday, with alternating weekends. This is 1st shift starting at 5 AM, 10-12 hours per day.

Position Overview:

• Delivering grocery (dry goods) to supermarkets, gas stations, and party stores.
• Un/loading utilizing an electric power jack, hand dolly, and liftgate.
• Establish professional relationships with customers and provide quality customer service.
• Operating the company vehicle safely and responsibly.
• Complete all necessary paperwork.

Miscellaneous:

• Operating an automatic transmission, pulling a side-bay trailer.
• This is a touch freight position. Must be able to push/pull up to 30-50 lbs.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• Excellent customer service skills are required.
• Proper and thorough Pre and Post trips are crucial.
• Must be self-directed, self-motivated, confident, and decisive.
• Must have knowledge of DOT regulations, Electronic Logging Devices, and Hours of Service rules.

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL Class A License.
• At least 1+ years of recent and verifiable CDL Class A driving experience.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• Clean MVR.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
• No Clearinghouse violations.
