We are a fast-moving commercial construction company looking for a strong Project Manager who knows how to lead projects from preconstruction through closeout and keep work moving in the field. At BF Construction, we build commercial tenant improvements, office buildouts, exterior renovations, site work, and fast-paced commercial projects that require organization, accountability, and proactive leadership. We are looking for someone with real construction knowledge — not just administrative experience.

The right candidate understands how projects are actually built, can coordinate trades effectively, solve problems early, and keep schedules aligned with what is happening in the field. This role requires someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple active projects while maintaining strong communication with clients, subcontractors, field teams, and leadership.

• Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final completion
• Develop, maintain, and actively manage project schedules
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and field operations
• Manage project budgets, procurement, and cost tracking
• Review construction documents, drawings, and project specifications
• Identify constructability issues and resolve problems proactively
• Coordinate permitting, inspections, and regulatory compliance
• Track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
• Maintain communication with clients, consultants, field teams, and company leadership
• Conduct site visits to verify quality, progress, and schedule alignment
• Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget
• Prepare project reports, updates, and closeout documentation

• Minimum 5 years of commercial construction project management experience
• Strong understanding of commercial construction methods and sequencing
• Ability to read and interpret full construction drawing sets and specifications
• Experience managing projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Strong scheduling, coordination, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
• Experience working with subcontractors and field teams
• High attention to detail and problem‑solving ability
• Comfortable operating in both office and field environments

• Previous Superintendent or Field Engineer experience
• Experience in design‑build construction environments
• Project Management certifications are a plus
• Experience with construction management software, scheduling platforms, Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, and project tracking systems
