- Part-time positions are typically 3 to 6 hours per day (15 - 29.5 hours per week) - Working hours are generally between 12:00pm and 4:00pm, to be scheduled according to school site needs
Basic Function:
Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, coordinates communications and dissemination of information between the school, home, and the community; facilitates home and community understanding of school programs and objectives, and actively increases and assures parent involvement in school activities; develops and maintains effective working relationships with individuals, community groups and social service agencies. Some positions in this class may require the ability to communicate in a designated second language.
Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent, along with the appropriate training to demonstrate the knowledge and skills outlined above. And
Experience:
One (1) year of related experience involving public contact.
