Critical Care Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Critical care registered nurses play a crucial role in providing care in high-stakes environments where patients experience severe medical emergencies, such as heart attacks, strokes, trauma, and respiratory distress. They are responsible for assessing patient conditions, implementing care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assessing and planning patient care plans.
• Treating wounds and providing advanced life support.
• Assisting physicians with procedures.
• Monitoring and recording patient vital signs.
• Ensuring proper functioning of medical equipment, including ventilators and monitors.
• Administering medications and intravenous fluids.
• Providing suctioning and other necessary treatments.
• Collaborating with the critical care team.
• Acting as a patient advocate and providing family education and support.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must hold a valid California RN license.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association are required.
• Must have relevant clinical and travel experience.
