Job Description
Job Purpose: We are seeking a dynamic Senior Accountant to join our innovative and growing finance and accounting team. This position will work directly with the Controller and will have exposure to our full accounting cycle. The pay range for this role is $74,600 - $88,100 (commensurate on relevant experience).
Duties and Responsibilities- Weekly cash reconciliations.
- Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Investigate and resolve reconciling items within account reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly journal entries as part of month end close.
- Assist with annual audit work papers.
- Participate in sales tax reporting and remittance process.
- Assist in preparation of the monthly reporting financial package.
- Prepare, evaluate and distribute financial reports to department managers including KPI, financial, trend and dashboard reports.
- Assist in supervision of the accounts payable and payroll functions.
- Work with operations to research and solve ERP questions, billing questions, and book any necessary adjusting/reclassing journal entries.
- Coordinate the more complex accounting projects and initiative with other member of the accounting team.
- Assist with any other ad hoc analysis or projects as needed.

Required Skills & Abilities- Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Knowledge and understanding of financial reports and statements.
- Strong work ethic ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines in a demanding detail-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and popular accounting software (experience with Viewpoint Vista is a plus).
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to collaborate.
- Attention to detail, time management skills and ability to work well under tight deadlines.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills.
- Enthusiastic team player.
- Bachelors degree in accounting or related field
- Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible professional accounting experience.
