What You'll Do as a Property Accountant:

Manage daily accounting for assigned properties, including general ledger activity, tenant ledger adjustments, and reconciliations
Support month-end close, including accruals, reclasses, write-offs, and financial reporting
Review property financials and analyze variances, receivables, credits, and expenses
Support affordable housing compliance and reporting
Assist with budgeting and revenue and expense analysis
Prepare supporting documentation for audits and perform annual petty cash audits

What We're Looking for in a Property Accountant:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
2+ years of accounting experience; property management or real estate accounting preferred
Affordable housing experience is a plus
Yardi Property Management Software experience preferred
Strong Excel, reconciliation, and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
