Senior Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a leading manufacturing company to fill their open Senior Accountant job in Westminster, CO. To qualify, you must have at least 4 years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role.

This is a TEMPORARY job opportunity that is expected to last at least 6 months. Depending on your performance and our client’s future hiring needs, this role may get extended and/or result in a permanent position in the company. You will earn between $40.00 and $48.00 in this role. You will also be able to sign up for LHH’s benefits programs (details below).

• Reconciling accounts
• Preparing and analyzing financial statements
• Preparing for audits
• Mentoring and coaching junior accounting staff
• Reviewing journal entries
• Managing month-end and year-end close processes
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting as needed
• Managing process improvement initiatives
• Maintaining compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and all relevant laws and regulations
• All other related tasks as required

• At least 4 years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Previous experience with SAP preferred
• Advanced Excel skills: VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas, etc.

• Hourly rate between $40.00 and $48.00
