Job Requirements
The Home Administrative Assistant provides a wide range of support to the HHD and/or PD program of the facility by acting as a receptionist for the program. Work involves knowledge of patient rights and responsibility for creating an atmosphere that allows for the privacy, dignity, and well‑being of all patients in a safe, secure environment. This individual cooperates and works together with all co‑workers and possesses the ability to plan and complete job duties with applicable supervisory direction, including exercising job‑appropriate judgment.
Use of tactful and appropriate communication in all work‑related interactions is necessary to promote positive relations with patients, family members, guests, and co‑workers.
- High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience (degree preferred).
- Previous experience in a medical setting preferred.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Computer skills;
Proficient in Microsoft Office, etc. - Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively with clients and fellow employees.
