Description Fabrication & Assembly
- Fabricate and rework non-flight hardware, including cables, chassis, 19" rack assemblies, and test aids, using build documents and assembly drawings.
- Execute expert-level cabling tasks, including wire stripping, crimping, connector installation, soldering, and the implementation of sleeving and grounding schemes.
- Accurately interpret electrical drawings, mechanical drawings, and wire lists.
- Identify and troubleshoot hardware issues related to product design or workmanship.
- Perform DMM continuity checks and Cirris testing on a variety of cable assemblies.
- Measure and record test data, ensuring out-of-tolerance conditions are recognized and reported.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to optimize hardware manufacturability and reuse.
- Manage assignments efficiently to meet cost and schedule requirements.
- Collaborate across departments and Strategic Business Units to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Provide expeditious technical support and work overtime as required to meet critical program milestones.
- Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Support Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.27 - $27.69/hr.
